Watching a movie is a classic date idea and, thanks to new technologies, is getting more and more affordable. There are movie theaters, DVD, Blu-ray, Blockbuster, Netflix, and BitTorrent. However, my favorite movie nights consist of old VHS tapes.

Pick up your date and head to a local thrift store. Nearly all of them sell old VHS movies for a dollar or two a tape. If you don’t have a VHS player, most thrift stores sell them, too!

Pick out a few classics that you and your date would enjoy, head home, pop some popcorn, and enjoy a nostalgic movie night!
